Thursday 7/16 WFL 7am Report: High pressure anchors near Louisiana. Weak low pressure is in the NE gulf making for light to occ moderate NW winds for the weekend. The surf forecast is more of the same. Knee high log waves on the right time and tide all weekend. Maybe a little more SW flow by Monday PM, check back on that. As for 20% the satellite is pretty clear as of Thursday am. It could develop tomorrow and Saturday but none of the models show that happening now and it’s only 48hrs out so unfortunately it doesn’t look like its going to happen IMO… but if it did that would be really cool bc it would mean more surf and more wind but not looking good for development at the moment. Next update Friday.

Kids grow up too fast!!

Julie. She’s 21 now and lives in St Pete! She was here like 4yrs old surfing in 6″ of water inside the inlet at PAG. I took them surfing here a lot at low tide before dark the sand bar was so shallow a 1/2ft wave was rideable for them. How is it now?

Cassia headed out at PAG while Nonno watches on. RIP, he passed 2/1/22. She was like 10 or 12 in this photo and really into surfing at this point. She lives in NE St Pete now, a few blocks from where she was born 🙂

Details by Diaco updated 7/1 Next Chance to Get Wet: Nothing solid… Hoping for low pressure in the gulf next week.
