Saturday Wind Ruffle. Bye Bye July!
Gnarly hot out. Even at night is does not cool off. Out on the boat in TB last night it was pretty cool but as we got close to land you could feel the wind turn hot, hot wind blowing off the land. This am, it's 84 already headed for 93 and a heat advisory. Hace Calor! I don't think the surf will get too ridable even this afternoon. It was knee high yesterday afternoon and it will probably get that again today. July was a pretty crappy month, rainy on the 4th(cool w me) and then record heat all month, feels like global warming, at least it's been raining a couple times a week and everything is green. . The cool thing I saw this am was a nice swell coming for the EC. Tuesday they will have surf in the 2-3ft range but with light onshores. Next weekend (a long ways out) a swell will be filling in while a trough kicks over FL and it looks 2-3ft but with offshores. Long ways out but keep an eye on it and maybe keep your plans flojo. How bout them Rays??!! Awesome taking the first game of the series with almost 37K in the trop... sick.

Keep an eye on Mr. Blob out in the Atlantic … more then a 50% chance of development. And currently in the sweet spot with favorable upper level conditions conducive for development:
