Tuesday 6am WFL Updater: Just a minor tweak in the winds for Friday back to the left puts a knee high slide at best cold front spots for Friday. On today’s models the winds look NNE instead of NE making for a loggable line instead of 1ft or less. Keep an eye on it.
Monday 6am WFL Future Surf: This week starts with Atlantic high pressure in control. A front will backdoor early this Friday with gusty NNE and NE winds. We are not expecting waves from this front. A 1ft N line on Friday is probable. The following week, the last week of February may have better surf prospects for WFL with south winds and a better front but it’s in the extended so check back. side note: how’s the temps been? big range right? down here in the NW PR mountains we have always have had lows in the upper 60’s during Decmber-March. This winter has been 71 range every am. def a notch warmer. climate change? bummed…
its been 85 past two days a la spring has sprung…it was (calling it, sorry…) a consistent but weak winter. one day broke 40. this last swell was the biggest since the dec ‘18 swell tho. gaia throwing her bows up before all hell breaks loose. the new normal 7 month long cane season is right around the corner.
also it was pretty awesome to see the swell/gulf start to back out after it peaked. basically storm surge. even with an incoming tide the water still kept pulling away from the beach.

Jobos in isabela. Watch out for the jerk locals. Maybe wildo we surfed there yesterday. Domes this am knee to waist inconsistent. Slim pickings right now hopefully it picks up
Scored a few small waves this afternoon on the LB. Buoys are still kind of up but so is the wind down here
