Hurricane Season 2016

Saturday.

Saturday.

For Thursday 6/15/16 WFL Surf Forecast: Looks like a nice little trough for WFL. Keep an eye on the buoys, pick that incoming tide you should score a couple nugs. I’m shutting it down for the weekend. Talk to you next week… Models locked in for weekend waves. There may be a small LB late Thursday afternoon but the gradient dosent kick until Friday pm and Saturday. Best time to surf may be Saturday late. Low pressure is forecast to form offshore Hatteras and retrograde back to Jacksonville. A trough will sink into the gulf with 20knt west winds for Friday. Saturday, the gradient will be at it’s strongest. On Sunday the models are showing a wind shift to the NE as the trough passes turning the wind offshore for a few hours before blowing the WFL waves down. Looks super interesting. Plan on surfing after work on Friday and again on Saturday. Next Forecast: Sunday Night.

Friday: Building windswell, ridable late day in the knee to thigh high range.
Saturday Continued building west swell: waist to occ chest with onshore winds at 20knts.
Sunday: Knee to thigh high leftovers early at best spots with light to possibly offshore winds.
